Greenzone icons At KAB Seating our approach towards the environment is to make it a fully integrated part of our business.

As well as our commitment to protect the environment we are also continually seeking to improve our environmental performance through the reduction of our energy usage and carbon emissions as well introducing product design improvements to reduce resource usage and improve recyclability.

We work closely with our suppliers to ensure that every link of the supply chain is taking a positive view towards the environment.

In order to reduce our contribution to landfill we have introduced a number of recycling schemes within the company including paper, cardboard, wood, steel, PVC and printer cartridges. We are currently looking for further recycling opportunities.

We believe in the value of employee involvement and recently ran an environmental slogan competition to launch our initiative to gain certification to BS EN ISO 14001:2004.

1st prize winner The winning entry was the slogan 'Use C.H.A.I.R. to make our seats' with C.H.A.I.R. representing Change Habits And Incorporate Recycling. 2nd prize winner Second prize went to the slogan 'KAB Seating - Front seat for the environment'.
The winners were presented with a cheque and CVG gifts by the President of CVG International.

We are pleased to announce that we were successful in gaining certification to ISO 14001 in November 2006 for the Northampton facility and have recently secured this for our Belgian subsidiary located in Seneffe.
