KAB Seating Systems are pleased to announce that the Executive, Director, Controller, Manager and Operator office seats with the alloy Ecco-sit base* are now certified to AFRDI Level 6 - Severe Commercial. This certification is in addition to the current certication KAB holds from FIRA.
KAB Seating satisfied FIRA International Limited applicable strength, safety and stability test requirements of BS 5459: (1990): Part 2 test level S. It is therefore considered to be structurally suitable and sufficiently stable for severe office use, when used by a person up to 120kg in weight.
In addition to the above KAB Seating have been appointed as a supplier under the NSW State Control Board Contract.
AFRDI Approved office chairs are tested to the Australian New Zealand Standard ( AS/NZ 4438). That standard is based on European standards and in some ways is even tougher - chairs that comply with AS/NZ 4438 are ergonomically sound , tough, durable and safe.
