On Friday 5th April, the Canadian High Commissioner to the UK, His Excellency Gordon Campbell visited KAB Seating in the company of Michael Ellis MP for Northampton North.

High Commissioner Gordon Campbell said: “It is my pleasure to be invited to visit a thriving industry in Northampton North and to tour a diverse part of the country. I am very much looking forward to hearing more about business life in the area and seeing how we can work together to strengthen our economic ties.”

David Hale, Director of Sales & Marketing from KAB Seating said, “Our Company is part of U.S. based Commercial Vehicle Group and has been designing and manufacturing seats in Northampton since 1968. We are proud of our history, providing quality suspension seats which protect drivers of work vehicles by significantly reducing harmful vibrations. Without our seats truck drivers, farmers and operators of construction vehicles are vulnerable to back injury and internal organ damage. KAB Seating has produced some 15 million seats in Northampton since 1968 and exports over 85% of sales to 40 countries around the world. A visit by the Canadian High Commissioner is a great endorsement for our product and our employees.
