To celebrate 50 years of manufacturing in Northampton, KAB Seating wanted to collaborate with Northampton Town Football Club to build and install new seats into their home and away dugouts.

The new seats, which have been installed in time for the new season are weather proof and hard wearing, and Michael Pritchard, Vice President for Global Operations of KAB seating and some of his staff were at Sixfields this week to wish manager Justin Edinburgh good luck ahead of the new season.

Mr Pritchard said, "KAB Seating has been and employer and a community member in the Northampton area for more than 50 years. The majority of our 350 employees are from the area and most reside in the town. KAB are proud of their history and contribution to the local community and economy. As a manufacturer of seats for the agriculture and construction vehicle producers as well as the office chair industry, the products are shipped to all corners of the world to customers who are household names in the field in which they operate.

"KAB moved to Northampton around 50 years ago and this year we celebrate 35 years on our current Round Spinney site. To recognise this and to share our anniversary we wanted to showcase our product in the local community. What better partner could we have than our local football team, supported by many of our employees on a weekly basis.

"KAB are committed to being a supporter of the Northampton community and are delighted to partner with Northampton Town Football Club in celebrating 50 years in this great town."

Manager Justin Edinburgh added, "We are very grateful to KAB seating for their assistance and we congratulate them on 50 successful years in Northampton, which is a fantastic achievement.

"The KAB seats are fantastic additions to the dugout and while we know they are very comfortable seats, we want to make sure visiting managers and coaching staff are not sitting too comfortably at Sixfields this season!"
